Ecobalyse is an environmental assessment tool that will enable you to implement the official methodology for environmental labelling, and thus quickly estimate the impact of a garment based on a few simple criteria: weight, composition, place of assembly, etc.
Its positioning corresponds to the "Level 1" approach, enabling an initial calculation of the "environmental cost" based on a few easily accessible key parameters. The calculation can then be refined by manufacturers with access to more precise parameters and more comprehensive tools (level 2 and level 3). Operators can select the calculation tool of their choice (public or private) to implement the environmental display method.
Ecobalyse has been developed as an open-source tool within the framework of the MTECT and ADEME Ecolab digital incubators.
